This Privacy Policy explains how Heavy Gold LLC collects, uses, and shares information when you use the StoryWizard (the "Service").
2. Information We Collect

We do not knowingly collect birth dates, precise location, or contact information of children.
3. How We Use Information
- Generate and deliver AI audio stories.
- Personalize content (e.g., inserting a child's name if provided).
- Improve AI models and overall Service performance.
- Communicate with you about updates and promotions (opt‑in).
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud or security issues.
4. Legal Bases (EU/UK Users)
We rely on (i) performance of a contract, (ii) legitimate interests (e.g., Service improvement), and (iii) your consent (for marketing) as legal bases under the GDPR/UK GDPR.
5. Sharing of Information
We share information only with:
- Service Providers (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, AI infrastructure) bound by confidentiality.
- Law Enforcement or Regulators when required by law.
- Successors in the event of merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
6. AI Processing & Training
Prompts and generated stories may be briefly stored on secure servers and may be used in an aggregated, de‑identified form to retrain and improve our AI models. We do not use children's names or other personal identifiers in model training.
7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use essential and analytics cookies to remember preferences and understand usage patterns. You can disable non‑essential cookies in the app settings or browser preferences.
8. International Transfers
We store data in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. We use standard contractual clauses where required.
9. Data Security
We employ industry‑standard encryption at rest and in transit, role‑based access controls, and regular security audits. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
10. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
We collect only limited personal data about children, with verifiable parental consent, solely to provide the Service. Parents may review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child's information by contacting us (see §14).
11. Data Retention
We retain Account Data while the account is active and for 30 days after deletion. Audio stories and prompts are retained for up to 12 months to support replay and editing, then deleted or anonymized.
12. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Submit requests at privacy@\[example\].com.
13. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes via the app or email at least 7 days before they take effect.
